  • The Construction contract was awarded to Sterling Excavation
  • Construction of the Westwood Meadows Lagoon Interceptor Project included:
    • A new gravity main from the lagoon site to the City of Columbia sanitary sewer collection system
    • The existing lagoon was demolished
  • The users in this area remain BCRSD customers and the BCRSD pays the City of Columbia to treat the wastewater
  • This project was funded by a low interest loan from the State Revolving Fund

Westwood Meadows Subdivision is located off of I-70 Drive NW just west of Columbia city limit. A project map is posted below.
